DTC P065: Cruise Control Servo Position Sensor Failure: Action
PCM disables cruise control.
NOTE:
Numbers in list refer to circled numbers in diagnostic flow chart, see Fig 1. For circuit identification see Fig 2.
- Checking if the cruise control feedback is a value that it should never be even with the servo fully released (0 to 2).
- Checking if PCM and circuitry to the cruise control servo are OK (measure 4.6 to 5.1 volts).
- Checking CKT 399 for an open.
- Checking CKT 398 for an open.
- Checking CKT 398 for a short to ground. If wire OK, PCM is open internally.
- Checking if cruise control servo is operating normally. If feedback is greater than 30, the servo is operating correctly.
