Coolant Temperature Sensor

This sensor provides PCM with engine coolant temperature information. The PCM will not allow VCC operation until the signal from this sensor indicates a coolant temperature greater than 167° F (75° C). When coolant is greater than 227° F (126° C), VCC is enableds in 2nd gear to assist engine cooling.
