Exiting Diagnostic Mode

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1988 Cadillac Allante and 1987 Cadillac Allante. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The cycle of trouble code displays may be exited at any time. To do so, simply depress the "RESET" button on the DIC function key. Diagnostics may also be exited by turning ignition switch to "OFF" position for 10 seconds. Either method will take CCP panel out of diagnostic mode, but will not clear any trouble codes. Original temperature setting should appear on CCP panel.
