Control Module Current Leak

Disconnect harness at solenoid valve. Use a D.C. voltmeter to check voltage between connector terminals. With engine idling, voltage should be less than 1.0 volt. Increase idle speed for several seconds. Reading should still be less than 1.0 volt. Any indication above 1.0 volt means control unit should be replaced.
