Control Module Current Leak

Disconnect harness at solenoid valve. Use a D.C. voltmeter to check voltage between connector terminals. With engine idling, voltage should be less than 1.0-volt. Increase idle speed for several seconds. Reading should still be less than 1.0-volt. Any indication above 1.0 volt means control unit should be replaced.
