Gasoline Engine
Test compression pressure with engine at normal operating temperature, all spark plugs removed and throttle and choke valves wide open.
NOTE:
Prior to checking compression, be sure batteries are fully charged to avoid battery run-down. When turning engine over during test, 6 "puffs" per cylinder should be used to obtain reading.
