In-Car Turn-On Switch

A thermostatic switch located just forward of the wire-retaining clip on the control panel baseplate. This switch senses in-car temperature and closes to turn the A/C system on if that temperature is above 75°F., even if engine water is cold and the other turn-on switch (located in the engine) is cold. Provides immediate cooling in a hot car that has not been run for some time.
