Installation Procedure

  1. GM6012018

    Rear Gate Module (1) - Install

  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. GM5989945

    Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel (1) - Install

  4. GM5922850

    Rear Seat Belt Retractor (2) - Install

  5. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  6. GM5921871

    Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) - Install

  7. GM5939849

    Rear Seat Back Cushion (1) - Install - Rear Seat Back Cushion Removal and Installation (40 Percent Seat) , or Rear Seat Back Cushion Removal and Installation (60 Percent Seat) - 40%

  8. GM5989918

    Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel (2) - Install

  9. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  10. Close the quarter window trim finish panel bolt cap.
  11. GM5922146

    Connect the electrical connector.

  12. Rear Compartment Courtesy Lamp (1) - Install

    NOTE:

    Both sides shown.The quantity is for the one side.

    Cargo Tie Down Loop- Left Side (2) - Remove

  14. Cargo Tie Down Loop Fastener- Left Side (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  15. GM5985179

    Liftgate Sill Garnish Molding (1) - Install

  16. GM5985177

    Load Floor Stowage Compartment Cover (1) - Install

  17. GM5985149

    Luggage Shade (1) - Install

    1. Install the luggage shade straps to the luggage shade pivot on both sides.
    2. Close the liftgate.
