Assembly Procedure

Lubricate the NEW caliper piston seal with brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Caliper piston seal (1) - Install
- Apply a thin coat of brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container to the brake caliper bore. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- NOTE:
Seat the NEW caliper piston dust boot in the groove of the brake caliper piston.
Brake caliper piston (1)@ Caliper piston dust boot (2) - Install
- Compress the caliper piston to the bottom of the caliper bore.
- Fully seat the piston dust boot seal into caliper counterbore.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Brake caliper bleeder valve (1) - Install 11 N.m (97 lb in)
- Brake caliper bleeder valve cap (2) - Install
- Install the brake caliper. Front Brake Caliper Replacement
