Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

  1. Install a NEW drain plug (2) and seal and tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
  2. Fill the transfer case to the bottom of the fill plug hole with the recommended fluid. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers , and Approximate Fluid Capacities 
  3. Install a NEW fill plug (1) and seal and tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
