Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Starter

  1. Install Starter (1)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install Starter Mounting Bolt (2) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  3. Connect Electrical Connector (1)
  4. Install Battery Positive Cable (1)
  5. Install Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)

  6. Connect Electrical Connector (1) @Oil Pressure Switch (2)
  7. Engage Retainer (3)

  8. Install Power Transfer Unit Case Power Transfer Unit Case Replacement
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
