Installation Procedure

  1. Transfer the front side door lock cables.
  2. Transfer the front side door lock cylinder rod.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the three bolts (1) to the front side door lock (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the front side door lock.
  5. Install the front side door locking rod. Refer to Front Side Door Locking Rod Replacement .
  6. Install the front side door window rear channel. Refer to Front Side Door Window Rear Channel Replacement .
  7. Install the window to the window regulator and reinstall the rear rail to the door. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  8. Remove the tape from the front side door window and frame.
  9. Inspect the door latch and outside handle for proper operation before installing the door trim.
  10. Install the front side door water deflector.
  11. Install the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement .
