Side Object Sensor Bracket Procedure
- Remove the side object sensor from the bracket.
- Sand/grind the sonic weld plastic residue from the fascia and bracket.
- Clean the mounting surfaces with an alcohol wipe and allow to dry.
- Apply adhesion promoter, using the sponge applicator, following the manufacturer directions.
- Apply 2 pieces 40 mm (1 1/2 in) of acrylic plus attachment tape, black, to the bracket following the manufacturer directions.
- Install the side object sensor bracket to the rear fascia.
- Install the side object sensor.
- Install the rear fascia.
