Converter Hanger Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the catalytic converter hanger insulator from the catalytic converter.
3. Remove the catalytic converter hanger bolts.
4. Remove the catalytic converter hanger.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the catalytic converter hanger.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the catalytic converter hanger bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

3. Install the catalytic converter hanger insulator to the catalytic converter.
4. Lower the vehicle.
