Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Replacement

Tools Required

J38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right headlamp assembly.




2. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the ambient air temperature sensor (1).
3. Use J38778 to disconnect the wiring harness retainer which secures the ambient air temperature sensor.
4. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor from the wiring harness retainer.
5. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the ambient air temperature sensor on the wiring harness retainer.
2. Install the wiring harness push-in retainer which secures the ambient air temperature sensor.
3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the ambient air temperature sensor (1).
4. Install the right headlamp assembly.
