Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the E-clip (3) from the pedal (2).
  3. Remove the plastic retainer from inside the pedal.
  4. Remove the accelerator control cable (1) from the pedal by pulling straight out and up towards the top of the pedal.
  5. Remove the accelerator pedal from the brake and accelerator pedal assembly.
