Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Buick Regal and 2004 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
  2. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (3.1L)  or Generator Replacement (3.8L) .

  3. Remove the generator bracket bolts.
  4. Remove the generator bracket.
