July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Park Avenue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the cruise control cable to the cruise control module.
  2. Install the cruise control cable slug TBI cam.

    Ensure that the cable is under the hook.

  3. Snap the cable to the throttle body bracket.

    IMPORTANT: The cruise control cable does not require mechanical adjusting after the replacement. The cruise control module internally adjusts the cable.

    Refer to CRUISE CONTROL DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION  for the complete operational details.

  4. Install the cable to the retainers (1).

  5. Install the fuel injector site shield. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT (L36) or FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT (L67) in Engine Mechanical-3.8L.
