To enter programming, turn the ignition to RUN. Place the vehicle in PARK. Press any DIC button. Press ENG/MET button for 5 seconds. DIC displays WELCOME TO BUICK OPTION FEATURE. DIC then displays driver number and ARMREST BUTTON CHANGES DRIVER #. To change driver number for this programming session, press appropriate memory seat button. Press RESET button in order to advance to next option.

The DIC displays LOCK FEEDBACK: OFF/ON. Press ENG/MET button to place arrow before desired choice. Press RESET button in order to advance to next option. If previous choice was LOCK FEEDBACK ON, DIC displays LOCK FEEDBACK: LIGHTS/LIGHTS+HORN. Press ENG/MET button to place arrow before desired choice. Press RESET button in order to advance to next option. The DIC displays UNLOCK FEEDBACK: OFF/LIGHTS appears on display. Press ENG/MET button to place arrow before desired choice. Press RESET button in order to advance to next option. To exit programming, press ODO/TRIP, FUEL INFO or GAGE INFO button.
