July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Shift Cable: Installation

  1. Properly route the shift cable through the engine compartment. See Fig 1 . Install the shift cable through the cowl. Install the shift cable to the steering column bracket. See Figure .
  2. Install the retaining clip to the shift cable. See Figure . Install the shift cable to the column control lever. Install the left instrument closeout panel.
  3. Install the shift cable into the bracket. See Figure . Connect the shift cable terminal to the transaxle manual shift lever pin.
  4. Insert the retainer to the shift cable mechanism. See Figure . Adjust the shift cable. See SHIFT CABLE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
