SUBJECT: PROM CHANGE 4.1L EQUIPPED CALIFORNIA REGALS

MODELS AFFECTED: 1984 REGALS WITH CALIFORNIA EMISSIONS AND 4.1L ENGINE (VIN CODE 4)


A new calibration PROM has been released for service use. Calibration changes have been made to correct customer concerns regarding chuggle.

Part number 1226914 should be ordered from WDDGM and installed should you have a customer comment in regards to chuggle. Normal replacement procedures should be followed as outlined in the 1984 Chassis Service Manual.
