Selector Lever

This lever operates a cable which positions the defroster door, which in turn directs air through the heater outlets or through the defroster outlets. In the "HEATER" position, the defroster door directs most air through the heater outlets, with a slight portion flowing to the windshield. Moving the selector lever to "DEFROST", directs the majority of the airflow through the defroster outlets, with the remainder flowing out of the floor outlets.
