All (Exe. Starfire): Notes
Air enters the ventilation and heater system at the cowl vent grille, travels through the plenum chamber and into the cowl air chamber. Air can now be directed into the passenger compartment by opening the right and left side cowl doors or by opening the upper level vent door in the center of the instrument panel. The doors are opened by manual control cables. A calibrated nipple is used to reduce coolant pressure in the heater core.
