Dived System
Fabricate a Devac Purging Tool as shown in illustration. Make sure that fluid level is correct (add or remove fluid as necessary). Insert rubber stopper of tool tightly into pump filler tube. Connect a suitable length of hose from tool to a suitable vacuum pump.
NOTE:
Do not use engine vacuum.
With vacuum applied, allow engine to idle for about 15 minutes. Do not turn steering wheel during this process. Disconnect and remove tool and reinstall filler cap.
