Removing and installing/replacing tailgate lock

• Remove trim for rear lid

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release screws (2) and remove tailgate lock (3).

Tightening torque 51 24 1AZ .

Installation note: 

Perform a functional check of tailgate lock with the trunk lid open.

Concluding tasks:

Adjust tailgate latch.
