Telematic Communication Box (TCB) basic version: Notes

Depending on the vehicle and optional equipment, a basic version of the Telematic Communication Box (TCB) may also be available. The basic version is described using the F56 as an example.
The TCB control unit basic version is primarily intended for intelligent emergency call. However, it also offers additional services.
NOTE:
With this basic version, the control unit is also abbreviated to TCB for Telematic Communication Box in the Service. The development code is TPL, which stands for telematics platform low.
