Principle of Operation: Monitoring

The DWA monitors the following signals:

Door and lid signals (trunk lid and hood contact)
Vehicle interior (USIS)
Vehicle inclination tilt
DWA-Bus line leading to emergency siren (SINE)
Voltage supply for vehicle electrical system (SINE)
Voltage level at the emergency siren (SINE)
Battery distribution switch

The DWA continues to evaluate the following vehicle operating states so that it can adapt its sensitivity to increase safety against false alarms.

Status of independent ventilation (parked car ventilation)
Position of windows
Position of sunroof

Open windows, for example, lower the sensitivity of the operating threshold.
