Converter Lockup Clutch Control

The converter lockup clutch (WK) is activated dependent upon the accelerator pedal position, transmission output speed, drive program as well as the engaged gear (only in 3rd and 4th gear). The converter lockup clutch opens in coasting mode. After starting the engine, it is not possible to engage the converter lockup clutch by way of temperature-dependent activation.
