RETAINING PLATE FOR Control Module for Adaptive Cruise Control -J428-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Insert the new clips until they engage in the retaining plate -2-.

• The closed clip -1- must be seated on the retaining plate -2- at the bottom on the inside.

-- Measure the dimension -a- at all stud bolts using the Digital Caliper :VAS6335  and correct if necessary.

• Dimension -a- = 17.6 mm ± 0.5 mm.

-- Position the retaining plate with the stud bolts -1- on the Control Module for Adaptive Cruise Control -J428-.

• The stud bolts -1- must be aligned correctly to the clips -2-.

-- Push the stud bolts -1- all the way into the clips -2- as shown.
