Work sequence
- Connect VAS5051 tester or VAG1551 scan tool and select control module for engine electronics using "address word" 01. Refer to VAS5051 vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system orVAG1551 Scan Tool (ST), connecting and selecting functions .
Engine must run at idle.
