Checking System Grounds

Checking Engine Ground Connections

Before checking On-Board Diagnostic system with Scan Tool, or before checking wiring or replacing components, check the following Ground (GND) connections for corrosion and damage; clean, repair or replace as necessary:
- GND connections on intake manifold and on right engine support.
- Battery GND strap.
