Display Group 018

^ The display groups 011 through 019 apply to driveability troubleshooting (idle problems and/or loss of power) and special component malfunctions.

Display Group 018 Overview:

Note for display field 1:

^ The ECM internal calculation value for the specified duty cycle is displayed without current and voltage correction.

Note for display field 2:

^ The current actually drawn by the IAC valve is displayed.

Notes for display field 3:

^ Positive values indicate increase in actual duty cycle in order to achieve specified current.

^ Negative values indicate reduction in actual duty cycle to achieve specified current.

^ If a longer time +60% is displayed, this indicates terminal resistance and/or that the IAC valve is too hot. If longer time -40% is displayed, this indicates a winding short circuit in the IAC valve.
