Throttle Linkage

  1. Ensure that throttle is in idle position and loosen clamping bolt on push rod at transaxle end. Hold transaxle selector lever in "Neutral" position and tighten bolt.
  2. Remove stop and intermediate piece from under accelerator pedal. Attach 2 nuts to M8 X 135 bolt so that distance from top of bolt to bottom of nuts i 4 7/8" (124 mm).
  3. Install bolt in place of pedal stop so bottom of pedal rests on bolt head. Adjust slack out of accelerator cable with adjusting nut on transmission bracket. Replace accelerator pedal stop.
