Cruise Control Systems: Adjustments: Regulator
Regulator adjustments are preset by the manufacturer. However, if all other components of the system appear to be functioning normally and Cruise Command remains inoperative, perform following adjustment to determine if regulator is functional.
NOTE:
Potentiometers are very delicate. Insert screwdriver into slots very carefully. DO NOT
push hard or turn hard against wiper arm stops. Potentiometer wiper arms have a maximum turning angle of 3/4 turn.
Turn sensitivity adjustment full clockwise. Turn low speed and centering adjustment to 10 o'clock position. If adjustments have no effect on Cruise Command, replace regulator.
