Acc Alignment - ADAS Tool

NOTE:
This procedure requires the use of the diagnostic scan tool and special tool Special Tool # 2076800080, (ADAS Calibration System)
This procedure must be performed in the following cases:
- Removing / installing the ACC radar
- ACC radar adjustment is required
- Warning light indicated the failure of the radar proximity
- Rear axle adjustments
- Rims are changed
- Removing / installing the front end.
Preparation Measure - The following steps must be performed before beginning the control and adjustment of the sensor / proximity radar:
- Check the inflation pressure of the tires and, if necessary, correct it.
- Make sure the steering wheel is centered.
- Check that there is at least 3 meters (10 feet) in front of the vehicle for space to setup the ADAS tool.
- The floor can have an angle of maximum inclination of 3 ° downhill or an uphill maximum inclination of 1 °.
Active alignment procedure: radar calibration
NOTE:
The spacer that is supplied in the ADAS Special Tool # 2076800080, (ADAS Calibration System) kit is needed for this model in order to perform the routine successfully.
- Using the diagnostic scan tool, navigate to the ACC or DASM "Misc. Functions" menu.
- Select and perform the "Active alignment procedure: radar calibration" procedure.
- Follow the procedures in the scan tool prompts to perform the alignment.
