DTC Troubleshooting: P062B(3.0L Engine): Inspection

+B_INJ, INJ_RLY_OUT, FI_MAIN_RLY_CL- Circuit Inspection 

NOTICE: 

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• • Injector relay: disconnected
  • PCM connector B (72P): disconnected
• Procedure
• • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

			(Disconnected)Injector relay 4P socketfemale terminals	(Disconnected) PCM connector B (72P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(3.0L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(2.0L Engine) female terminals

	+B_INJ circuit inspection 1	OFF			12 V battery voltage [circuit type 1]
	+B_INJ circuit inspection 2	OFF			12 V battery voltage [circuit type 1]
	INJ_RLY_OUT open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
	FI_MAIN_RLY_CL- open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
	Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
	INJ_RLY_OUT shorted to ground inspection	OFF			Not shorted

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

  If the power supply inspection of the above table showed abnormally, do the additional Power Supply Inspection , to locate the failure.

PCM Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the PCM.
