VTC Oil Control Solenoid Valve A Component Inspection
Test Procedure
- Preparation

- VTC oil control solenoid valve A 2P connector: disconnected
- Procedure
-
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.

Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem with VTC oil control solenoid valve A.
VTC, PG1 Circuit Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Test Procedure

- PCM connector E (80P): disconnected
- VTC oil control solenoid valve A 2P connector: disconnected
- Procedure
-
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.

for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
PCM Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the PCM.
