Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor Inspection

NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the inspection item, the defective component judgement is based on the results from the other inspection items.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- Accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 6P connector: disconnected

Procedure

Perform the inspection according to the following table.


		(Disconnected) APP sensor 6P connector female terminals
	IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
PCM output voltage inspection	ON		About 5.0 V

Results

If it is normal, there is a problem with the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor.
If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the related components.
