Yaw Rate-Acceleration Sensor

Yaw Rate Sensor (included in the VSA modulator-control unit) 

The yaw rate sensor is a diapason type built into the VSA system that generates a voltage signal each time there is a change in the horizontal axis. The yaw rate sensor uses the voltage signal generated whenever the diapason vibrates during vehicle cornering.

Acceleration Sensor (included in the VSA modulator-control unit) 

Whenever the vehicle accelerates or decelerates, the movable electrode shifts position and the capacitance between the movable and fixed electrode changes. Acceleration/ Deceleration are thus detected by the change in capacitance.
