DTC U0301

DTC U0301  : PGM-FI System and Transmission System Program Version Mismatch

NOTE:
  • Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
  • These DTCs are indicated when the PCM update procedure is not completed.
  • Do not press the engine start/stop switch while updating the PCM. If you do, the PCM can be damaged.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC
U0301 PGM-FI System and Transmission System Program Version Mismatch    

DTC (PGM-FI)

  1. Problem verification (update)

    -1. Update the PCM .

    -2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

    U0301 PGM-FI System and Transmission System Program Version Mismatch    

    Is DTC U0301 indicated?

    YES 

    Replace the PCM .

    NO 

    Update is complete. If any other Pending or Confirmed DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
