Select Arm Clearance Inspection

Measure the clearance between the select arm (A) and the interlock (B) with a feeler gauge (C). If the clearance exceeds the service limit, go to step 2.
Standard: 0.05- 0.25 mm (0.002- 0.009 in)

Service Limit: 0.5 mm (0.019 in)

Measure the width of the select arm.
- If the width is not within the standard, replace the select arm.
- If the width is within the standard, replace the interlock.
Standard: 12.9- 13.0 mm (0.508- 0.512 in)
