DTC 1410: Audio Error 10 (RES Error)
NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST ).
- This navigation DTC sets when a mechanical malfunction in the rear controller and screen is detected.
- Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ).
- Check that the temperature is between -4 °F (-20 °C), below 158 °F (70 °C) around the rear controller and screen.
- Clear the hard error code (see HOW TO CLEAR ERROR HISTORY ).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).
- Check for the hard error code (see HOW TO CHECK ERROR HISTORY (NAVIGATION DTCS)
).
Is DTC 1410 indicated?
YES -Go to step 5.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
- Go into the Diagnostic Menu, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu (see SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC MODE ).
- Select the System Links, then select the RES.
Is Connection OK indicated?
YES -Replace the rear controller and screen (see WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL ILLUMINATION DOES NOT COME ON ).
NO -Do the DTC 2708 troubleshooting (see DTC 2708: RES DIAG ).
