Warm Up TWC Removal/Installation: Rear

Raise the vehicle on a lift.
Remove the intermediate shaft (see INTERMEDIATE SHAFT REMOVAL ).
Remove the rear A/F sensor (Sensor 1) (see A/F SENSOR REPLACEMENT ) and the rear secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) (see SECONDARY HO2S REPLACEMENT ).
Remove the exhaust pipe A mounting nuts (rear WU-TWC side) (see EXHAUST PIPE AND MUFFLER REPLACEMENT ).
Carefully remove the rear WU-TWC.

Carefully install the rear WU-TWC with a new gasket and new self-locking nuts. Tighten the nuts in a crisscross pattern in two or three steps.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
