DTC 60: Communication Line Error
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Turn the adaptive cruise control (ACC) switch ON.
- Watch the ACC indicator.
Does the ACC indicator stay off?
YES -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
NO -Go to step 5.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 60 indicated?
YES -Go to step 6.
NO -Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s). If there are no DTCs, the system is OK at this time.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Disconnect the 20P connector from the ACC unit.
- Check the resistance between the ACC unit 20P connector terminals No. 10 and No. 20.

Is there about 60 Ω at room temperature?
YES -The F-CAN line is OK at this time, check for loose or poor connections. If OK, replace the ACC unit (see ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC) UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
NO -Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the communication line (CANL line or CANH line.)B
