Oil Filter Base Replacement

  1. Remove the oil filter (see ENGINE OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT ).
  2. Remove the oil filter base (A).

  3. Clean the O-ring grooves and mating surfaces with the filter base, then install the oil filter base with new O-rings (B).
  4. Install the oil filter (see ENGINE OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT ).
