July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Radiator Fan Switch Test

NOTE: Bleed air from the cooling system after installing the radiator fan switch (see COOLANT CHECK ).
  1. Remove the radiator fan switch from the thermostat cover (see Radiator Fan Switch Replacement  ).
  2. Suspend the radiator fan switch (A) in a container of water .

  3. Heat the water and check the temperature with a thermometer. Do not let the thermometer (B) touch the bottom of the hot container.
  4. Measure the continuity between the A terminal (C) and B terminal (D) according to Fig 2 .
