Multiplex Control Unit Input: 3.2TL
- Remove driver's underdash fuse/relay box. See DRIVER'S UNDERDASH FUSE/RELAY BOX under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove driver's multiplex control unit from driver's underdash fuse/relay box. Disconnect driver's multiplex control unit Green 22-pin connector. Inspect connectors and terminals. Check for bent, loose, or corroded terminals. Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If connectors and terminals are okay, go to next step.
- With driver's multiplex control unit disconnected, perform driver's underdash fuse/relay box socket and driver's multiplex control unit input tests. See Fig 1 . Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If driver's multiplex control unit inputs are okay, go to next step.
- Remove passenger's underdash fuse/relay box. See PASSENGER'S UNDERDASH FUSE/RELAY BOX under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove passenger's multiplex control unit from passenger's underdash fuse/relay box. Disconnect passenger's multiplex control unit Green 22-pin connector. Inspect connectors and terminals. Check for bent, loose, or corroded terminals. Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If connectors and terminals are okay, go to next step.
- With passenger's multiplex control unit disconnected, perform tests specified at passenger's underdash fuse/relay box sockets and multiplex control unit connector. See Fig 2 . If any problem is found, find and correct cause and recheck system operation. If all tests prove okay, replace passenger's multiplex control unit and recheck system operation.
