Brake Signal: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Signals to the Engine Control Module (ECM) whenever the brake pedal is depressed.

OPERATION
The brake switch signal is produced by the brake light switch. This signal is processed by the ECM to modify idle speed and charging voltages as necessary.
