Hood Switch

Open hood. Disconnect hood switch 2-pin connector. Check continuity between hood switch 2-pin connector. Continuity should exist with hood switch lever released (hood open). Continuity should not exist with hood switch lever pushed down (hood closed). If continuity is not as specified, replace hood switch assembly.
