Rack Guide Adjustment

  1. Loosen lock nut using Lock Nut Wrench (07916-SA50001 on Integra or 07KAA-SD40100 on Legend). See Figure and Fig 1 . Using a 14-mm wrench, tighten rack guide screw until spring is compressed against the guide.
  2. Loosen rack guide screw and retighten to 36 INCH lbs. (4 N.m). Back off rack guide screw 25 degrees. Holding rack guide screw in place, tighten lock nut to 18 ft lbs. (24 N.m) Check steering effort. See STEERING EFFORT  under TESTING.
